What it actually looks like.
Every screen below is the real app, captured in your language.

Same shelf, different truth
Two products from the same aisle rarely tell the same story. Ingredo puts a real score on each — here 86 against 59 — so the difference is visible before you reach the checkout.
Screen 1 of 5
Snap a photo, get the verdict
Point the camera at any product. The AI recognises it, analyses the ingredients and returns a health score with the reasons laid out underneath — in seconds.
Screen 2 of 5
Every ingredient, explained
Each ingredient is classified and explained in plain language, with the nutrition table beneath — sugar, salt and fat flagged with traffic-light dots.
Screen 3 of 5
It knows what you avoid
Tell it your allergens once. From then on, anything that contains them is flagged with a clear 'Not for you' warning before you take a bite.
Screen 4 of 5
Skincare gets the same rigor
Cosmetics are scored on ingredient safety the same way food is scored on nutrition — what goes on your skin is held to the same standard as what goes in your body.
Screen 5 of 5
Know what's inside before you buy.
What it collects
No account required
Ingredo has no sign-in. We never create or collect a user ID, name, email, or password — the app is fully anonymous.
Scanned products & photos
When you scan, the product barcode goes to public product databases. The photo you capture (or choose from the photo picker) is sent to a third-party AI service for analysis and is also cached on your device; it is never stored on our servers. The resulting product analysis is written to an anonymous shared catalog with no link to you, and individual entries cannot be undone.
Scan history & favorites
Your scan history and favorites are stored only on your device and are never uploaded or synced to a server.
Notifications
Notifications are generated entirely on your device — there are no server-sent push notifications, and no device notification token is created or shared. Permission is requested only once, after you complete your first scan, and is off by default. They are re-engagement reminders and daily tips; you can turn them off in Profile → Notifications or in iOS Settings.
Preferences
Your dietary and product preferences (such as allergens, diet, health goals, and skin type) stay only on your device. Suitability is calculated entirely on-device; these preferences are never included in an AI request and are never sent to any server.
Subscription status
Purchases are handled by Apple, and we never receive your card details. A third-party subscription-analytics service receives subscription transaction events along with your device identifier (IDFV), IP address, install ID, device model, OS version, language, and time zone. It runs in observer mode — it does not process payments or show paywalls — and is tied only to its own anonymous profile.
No tracking or ads
There are no advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, and no ad-identifier-based targeting. The only analytics in use is the subscription and revenue reporting described above. Device permissions requested: the camera, for scanning, and notifications, which are optional. Photo library access is never requested.
Built with
Secure cloud database & storage
Stores an anonymous, shared product catalog so that once any user scans a product, its analysis is cached for everyone — repeat scans return instantly. No user identity, account, or device ID is attached to these records.
Third-party AI analysis service
Identifies a scanned product and analyzes its ingredients, nutrition, and health risks. The captured product photo (or product name/ingredient text) is sent for analysis. No user identity accompanies the request.
Public product databases
Look up food and cosmetic product details by barcode. Only the scanned barcode (or a free-text search term when browsing categories) is sent; no user data is attached.
Subscription & billing (Apple)
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Payments are charged to your Apple ID; we never receive or store your card details.
Subscription analytics service
A third-party service receives subscription transaction events (product ID and transaction), along with a device identifier (IDFV), IP address, install ID and device metadata (model, OS version, language, time zone), for revenue and subscription reporting. It runs in observer mode — it does not process payments or show paywalls — and it is tied only to its own anonymous profile, never to an app account.
